Working closely with Ben Pentreath Architects on a new settlement between Wickham and Fareham on the south Hampshire coast. The landscape structure is based on the history of Bronze Age sculpting of the chalk. The central park encircles the remains of a palaeolithic burial long barrow with sinuous ramparts and ponds that fall and rise towards a 5 metre high viewing mound to the north.

Orchards, allotments and wooded walks create an easy pattern of bicycle and pedestrian connections. Mature trees have been planted along the streets and the gardens are protected by miles of native hedges. Deacon Design are the executive landscape architects.
