Stamford North

Working with the Burghley Estate and Adam Architects on a new settlement on the northern edge of Stamford. The extension to the historic town responds to the topography, folding the settlement down into the valley to the north. The valley itself will be a public park with a stream which links down to new grazed water meadows beside the Gwash River.

Orchards, allotments and connected walks will create an easy pattern of bicycle and pedestrian paths that link to the schools and the centre of town. Bradley Murphy Design are the executive landscape architects.
