Kim Wilkie - Principal Kim had an intense introduction to landscape. He grew up in the Malaysian jungle and Iraqi desert before being sent to school in southern England. Having studied history at Oxford and environmental design at the University of California, Berkeley, Kim set up his landscape studio in London in 1989. He is fascinated by the link between land and culture and between memory and imagination. Kim continues to teach sporadically at Berkeley; writes
optimistically about land and place; and meddles in various national
committees on landscape and environmental policy in the UK. |

John Dawkins - Landscape Architect John was influenced at an early age by key individuals and their enthusiasm of architecture, design and landscape. He chose to continue his journey and education through design with Naval Architecture at Strathclyde University in Glasgow and then progressing from the sea to the land with a diploma in Landscape Architecture at the University of Central England in Birmingham. John joined Kim Wilkie Associates in
March 2001. He is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute. Since
joining the practice John has worked on and led a broad range of projects
from flood management and riverside landscapes for London’s Arcadia
to the restoration of historic parkland and land sculpture at Heveningham
Hall and the design of new public spaces for the V&A Museum and
