Palace House Bishops Waltham, Hampshire for private clients, 2005-
A secret garden set within the walls of the Bishop of Winchester’s old palace in Bishop’s Waltham. The garden is hidden in a ruined turret and entered through a narrow archway covered by a curtain of climbers. Inside the mediaeval palace walls, the old stream course has been restored to descend in wooden weirs to a pool outside the turret and then flow through the garden under the original brick arches.
