Ten years after the launch of the Thames Landscape
Strategy 2004, the London Borough of Richmond has been successful in its Heritage
Lottery Fund bid for the London’s Arcadia project. KWA were commissioned
in March 2004 to work on the design for the rural reaches of the Arcadia project
looking at ways of enhancing public involvement in the complete riverside
landscape.
Stretching from Richmond Hill to Radnor Gardens the project looks at combining
the bustling urban waterfronts and grazed wet meadows to create a landscape
that welcomes both people and wildlife. |
